About the Founder
Hi, I am Saskia,
I’m the founder of Optima Operations Consulting, and my story spans a few places, and a lot of moving parts.
I was born in Belgium, spent time living in the UK, and for the past 20 years have called the United States home. Today, my family and I live in a small but growing city in South Carolina. One that values community, connection, and showing up for one another.
I’ve been married to my amazing husband for 13 years, and together we’re raising three energetic boys who keep life full, busy, and endlessly entertaining. Between school activities, recreational sports, and club teams, our calendar is always moving. Our dog, Floki, and cat, Chewy, are very much part of the family too. They definitively add their own kind of chaos and joy.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find us traveling or heading from one soccer or baseball field to the next.
This season of life is all about balancing family, work, and constant motion. This is what fuels my passion for structure and systems. I’ve seen firsthand how clarity, documentation, and simple processes can make life and business feel lighter. Optima Operations Consulting was built from that belief: that strong foundations behind the scenes create the freedom to be fully present where it matters most.
